When the weather is fine, there is nothing better then going for a walk around our acreage to see what creatures are out and about enjoying the sunny day. This is one of our amazing neighbours. The sound that this glorious Kookaburra makes is like nothing else. Occasionally we have a number of them sitting on the fences and in the trees laughing as loud as they please.
The most common critter in our yard is this magnificant Lizard. It is very friendly and we have saved the lizards babies a few times. It let me get really close to take some photos. I hope you enjoy it like we do..
